Okay, so yesterday I was trying to find the basketball roster for Rutgers Prep, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. I wanted to see who was playing this year, maybe check out some stats, you know, the usual fan stuff.
First, I headed over to what I thought was their official athletics site. I figured, “This should be easy, it’s probably right there on the homepage.” But nope, not that straightforward. I clicked around a bit, found some schedules and scores from past games, which was cool, but not what I was looking for.
Digging Deeper
Then I remembered seeing something about recruits on some sports site, I think it was called On3 or something. So I typed “Rutgers Prep basketball recruits” into the search bar and boom, there it was. This site had profiles of all the new guys, with some details about them. It was interesting, but I still wanted the full current roster.
- Tried the school’s main website. No luck.
- Checked out a site called RealGM. Found some player names, but it didn’t seem complete.
- Looked at another high school sports site, it had a roster, but I wasn’t sure if it was up to date.
Finally Got It!
After going through a few more sites, and honestly, feeling a bit lost, I finally stumbled upon a page that seemed to have the full roster. It listed all the players, their positions, and even their heights and weights. It looked pretty official, so I’m hoping it’s the real deal.
I ended up spending way more time on this than I expected. I just wanted to see the team list, but it turned into a whole search operation. It’s kind of messy, hopping from one site to another, trying to piece together the information. Why can’t they just put it all in one easy-to-find place? Anyway, I’ve got the roster now, so that’s something. Maybe next time it’ll be easier, but who knows.
It’s really a pain to gather that mess, they made that not easy to find.
