Well, let me tell ya ’bout this young fella named Ryan Fine. He’s been making quite a name for himself in the hockey world. Now, I ain’t no expert or nothin’, but I can tell ya he’s been a hard-working boy out there on the ice, playin’ for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. He’s been with ’em for two seasons, back in 2021 through 2023, skatin’ in 63 games with the U18 team. I reckon that’s a lotta games for a young one like him.
Now, I ain’t sure if y’all know this, but Ryan Fine is a forward. And when I say forward, I mean he ain’t hangin’ around waitin’ for somethin’ to happen. He’s right up there on the front lines, always lookin’ for a chance to make a move, put that puck in the net. I heard he had a career-high of 1 goal five times, includin’ one against Yale on March 1, 2024. Pretty good, eh? And then there’s the assists. He got 2 assists against Colgate back on January 27, 2024. Two assists, that’s real nice for a young player, if you ask me.
As for his size, he’s about 5 feet 10 inches tall, so he ain’t the biggest guy on the ice. But don’t let that fool ya. He’s got the speed and the skill to keep up with the big boys. He plays with a lotta heart, like he’s got somethin’ to prove. I don’t know much about his family, but I’d bet they’re mighty proud of him for how hard he works and how far he’s come.
Now, Ryan Fine has been playin’ with some of the best in the game. He’s skated alongside some real good players, like Carter Slaggert and Alex Weiermair. I reckon that helps ya grow as a player, bein’ around folks that know what they’re doin’. Just look at the 2022-23 season. He played real well with his teammates. You can tell he’s been learnin’ and workin’ on his game, ’cause every time he hits the ice, he gets better.
In his early career, he was part of the USA Hockey National Team Development Program, where he got his chance to really show what he’s made of. Those two seasons with the program helped him build the skills he needs to make it in the big leagues. That’s the thing with hockey, folks. It ain’t just about the size, it’s about the heart and the hustle you put into it. And Ryan, well, he’s got plenty of both.
Ryan Fine’s Stats:
- Goals: 1 (5x, vs. Yale, 3/1/24)
- Assists: 2 (vs. Colgate, 1/27/24)
- Points: 2 (vs. Colgate, 1/27/24)
That’s all part of his journey. Every time he’s out there, it’s a new chance to make somethin’ happen. And it’s been a good ride so far, I’d say. Folks talk about Ryan Fine, and I reckon they do it with respect. He’s on his way up, and it seems like he’s got a bright future ahead of him.
Now, I don’t know where he’ll end up in the long run, but I’d be surprised if we don’t hear more about this young man. Whether he’s playin’ for the big league teams, or maybe even representin’ the country in bigger tournaments, I have a feelin’ that Ryan Fine is a name we’ll all be hearin’ more of as the years go by.
