I gotta tell you about this crazy shopping day I had in Santa Fe. It was wild, man! So, I started off looking for some cool Native American jewelry. You know, the real deal, not that touristy stuff.
First, I wandered into this place downtown. It was called Seret & Sons or something like that. I walked inside, and it felt like I stepped into a different world, I walked and saw the stuff inside, a mix of East and Southwest vibes, it’s kinda cool.
After that, I checked out the Winter Market. It’s a seasonal thing, I guess, but it was packed with all kinds of stuff. I saw Handmade jewelry, art, you name it.
- I found some unique pieces there.
- And I even got a few gifts for my friends back home.
Then, I heard about this place called Act 2 where you can sell your old clothes.
So, I headed over there, thinking I might find some vintage gems. They said they give you 40% of the sale price or 50% in store credit. But their buying hours were only from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, so I had to rush!
Next, I stumbled upon this spot called Jackalope. It was a bit outside of the main tourist area, but man, was it worth it! They had everything from quirky home decor to vintage clothes. It was like a treasure hunt, and I scored some awesome finds.
Best Shopping Experience!
I also stopped by the Native American Vendors Program at the Palace of the Governors. It was right in the heart of the city, and the vendors were all super talented. I ended up buying a beautiful silver bracelet from one of them.
Oh, and I can’t forget about Doodlet’s! It was this tiny little shop, but it was packed with the most random and fun stuff. I grabbed a few souvenirs there, and they even had some local snacks. And this other place, Santa Maria Provisions, had some really cool local goods too, but I was too full from all the snacks to buy anything else.
By the end of the day, my bags were full, and my wallet was a lot lighter. But hey, it was all worth it. I got some amazing stuff, met some cool people, and had a blast exploring Santa Fe’s shopping scene. If you’re ever in town, you gotta check it out!
