Okay, so, yesterday I started digging into Seton Hall tennis. I noticed that they have their women’s tennis team roster online for the 2022-23 season. That’s cool to see who was playing back then. I also stumbled upon an older roster from 2020-21, but it’s obviously not current. I figured that might be interesting for comparison, even though it is a little bit outdated.
Then, I read something about the 2022 Big East All-Academic Team. It mentioned that in the 2023-24 year, some players had won a couple of singles matches and five doubles matches. They teamed up with someone named Aina Plana Ventosa. I wonder how they’re doing now.

I found some info about recruiting, too. Apparently, there’s a way for high school players to show they’re interested in playing for Seton Hall. I guess that is useful for both the school and the students, to make their plans in advance.
There was this one article I read about the Seton Hall women’s tennis team. They had a big 6-1 win against the Monmouth Hawks. It sounds like they’re a pretty close team, just eight players. It mentioned that the match took place at the Little Silver Tennis Club.
Recent Matches
I saw that they recently played against the Providence Friars. The article said that the match was in Newark, New Jersey, on a Tuesday. It’s always interesting to see how teams perform in different locations. Later, I found that they also had a dominant 6-1 victory over Saint Joseph’s at the beginning of the 2025 spring season. It seems that they are keeping up their good work.
Oh, and I read something about transfers. Seton Hall’s transfers came from programs with a combined record, but I don’t really know what does that means. I guess it is related to some professional tennis terms, but I don’t really know about that.
Anyway, that’s what I found out about Seton Hall tennis today. It was just some casual browsing, but it’s always fun to learn a bit more about college sports, right? Next time maybe I can find something more interesting about them.
