Okay, folks, gather ’round. Today, I wanna share something I’ve been digging into lately – St. John’s men’s tennis. Yeah, you heard that right. Tennis. Not my usual stuff, but hey, life’s full of surprises, right?
So, it all started when I stumbled upon some announcement about the 2025 spring schedule for the St. John’s men’s tennis team. It was made by Head Coach Dillon Pottish. I thought, “Hmm, interesting.” I didn’t know much about college tennis, but it sounded like something new to explore. I love to get new things and share my experiences to my followers.
Then, I found something mentioning “Queens, N.Y. (September 16.” and “Want to be a Johnnie?”. I was a little bit confused about these sentences but kept searching and reading. It got me thinking, maybe there’s a story here. I started doing some digging on the internet, just typing in “St. John’s men’s tennis” and seeing what came up. It was some news about tennis.
I read about the 2022 Tennis schedule for the Saint John’s University Johnnies. They call them the “Johnnies” – kinda catchy, I guess. I found some more stuff like schedule to help me to learn more about it. I felt like I was piecing together a puzzle, bit by bit.
One of the things that got me was to see how much is going on with this team, so I started to look it up. And it gave me that someone saw fans highlighting the 2023 BIG EAST Champion at the U.S. Open. That’s a pretty big deal, I realized this team is popular! It showed me that these guys are not just playing some local matches, they’re in the real deal. And the team even had a first-round match against Stanford, and it was at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center this Friday, May 5. I think this team is worth following!
So, I kept digging some information. I started following their social media, reading articles, and even watching some match highlights online. I wanted to see these guys in action, see what all the fuss was about.
After collecting those information, I started to arrange them and write my blog post. In the post, I introduced the basic information of St. John’s men’s tennis team and added some recent news about it. I was excited after publishing it.
