Okay, so I’ve been meaning to dig into the 2012 Ohio State basketball season for a while now. I’m a huge Buckeyes fan, and that year was… well, it was something. I remember watching those games, but I wanted to go back and really look at what happened, you know? So, I started digging.
Finding the Information
First things first, I needed to find some solid game recaps and stats. I spent some time just cruising around various sports websites. Just typing in “Ohio State Basketball 2012” got me a good amount of basic information, like scores, schedules, that kind of thing.
Diving Deeper
After I got the basics, I really started watching old game footage. Seriously, hours of it. I wanted to refresh my memory, not just read about it. I wanted to SEE what was going on with the team.
I was especially interested in the Big Ten Tournament and, of course, the NCAA Tournament. Those games were intense! Watching them again, I could really see some of the key moments that determined wins and losses, you know? I started to write a lot down. I even had old paper notes laying around.
Putting It All Together
So, after all this watching and note-taking, I finally felt like I had a good handle on the 2012 season. I went back and created myself a simple spreadheet.
- Game Date
- Opponent
- Result (Win/Loss)
- Key Players and Stats
- My Notes (Basically, my own observations from watching the games again)
I then wrote out all of the information, and made sense of it all. Not pretty, but it helped me understand everything way better!
