Well, it wasn’t always easy. Oh no, there’s plenty of sweat and tears goin’ on out there. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose, but they keep their heads high and keep swingin’. I remember that one time when they went up against Tennessee, and it was a real heartbreak. The Cowgirls were ranked number one, but Tennessee sure gave them a run for their money and won 4-2. Kristina Novak, she’s one of the best players on the team, you know. She got named the Most Outstanding Player at the Big 12 Tournament after goin’ 2-0 in her matches. That’s what I call grit! She’s a real fighter, and I reckon she’s gonna go far.
