Okay, so I wanted to keep better track of tennis scores, specifically for Ivan Dodig. I’m a big fan, and it’s sometimes hard to find his results quickly, especially for doubles matches.
My Little Project: Tracking Dodig’s Scores
First, I tried just googling “Dodig tennis score” whenever I was curious. This worked… sometimes. I’d get some results, but it was often a mix of old matches, and I’d have to sift through a bunch of websites to find what I needed. Too much work!
Then, I thought, “Hey, there must be a better way!” So I started looking for dedicated tennis score websites. I found a few, and they were definitely better than just random googling.
- I checked out some of the big sports sites. They had scores, but navigating to find a specific player, especially for doubles, was still a bit of a pain.
- I also found some tennis-specific sites. These were a little better, with more detailed information and player profiles.
I bookmarked some pages, and then would try to find the right area, and hopefully find his name, match status.
So, after some trial and error, I’ve got a system that’s working pretty well. It’s not perfect, but it’s way better than where I started. Now I can usually find Dodig’s latest results with just a few clicks. It is a bit manual, but it works for me, for now!
