Okay, so I wanted to keep better track of my table tennis matches, especially the elite series ones. I’d been using a notepad, but it was getting messy and hard to, like, really see the trends, you know?
Finding a Solution
I figured there had to be a better way. A digital way. So I started poking around, looking for something that could give me live scores and maybe even some basic stats. I thought maybe some generic sports scoring apps, but most were for, football, and basketball, and I don’t care about that!
My Experiment
I stumbled upon a couple of websites that seemed promising. It has a super simple interface. You just plug in the player names and then update the score as the game goes on. Here’s how I did it:
- First Game Setup: I entered “Me” vs. “Opponent” (creative, I know).
- During the Match: Every time a point was scored, I just clicked the plus button for whoever won the point. It was pretty easy to do even between rallies.
- After the Match: I’d note down the final score, super simple!.
Did it Work?
YES! It was way better than my old notepad system. It’s all neat, and I can save it for later.
I’m planning to keep using this for all my matches. Maybe I’ll even find something to save my games somewhere later. Wish me luck!
