Okay, so I wanted to check out the Massachusetts high school hockey rankings for 2023. It’s something I try to keep up with, just for fun, you know? So, I started my little adventure this morning. First, I grabbed my phone and started with a basic search.

I typed in “Massachusetts high school hockey rankings 2023” into the search bar. The first thing I noticed was a result from a site called MaxPreps. They had a list of rankings, so I clicked on that.
Diving Deeper
On the MaxPreps page, they listed all the Massachusetts Ice Hockey teams. I scrolled through to see if any teams I knew were up there. They had this cool feature, “Find my Team,” which was pretty handy. I used it to quickly locate a couple of local teams I follow.

Then, I remembered about a site called “My Hockey Live.” I knew they cover a lot of high school and amateur hockey games. So I headed over there. They have news, stats, and standings, which is awesome.

I also found another site that mentioned “MHR Week #24 Rankings.” They said their admin team, volunteers, and members had added a bunch of new stuff. That sounded pretty comprehensive, so I decided to take a look.
Specific Division
I noticed a link for “Massachusetts Division 1 Ice Hockey ranking list” on one of these sites. Since I was particularly interested in Division 1, I clicked on that. They had all the Division 1 teams listed, which was exactly what I was looking for.
Wrapping Up
After spending some time going through these sites, I felt like I had a pretty good handle on the high school hockey scene in Massachusetts for 2023.
