Okay, so, I’ve been diving deep into the Villanova women’s tennis team lately. It’s been a real journey, let me tell you.
First off, I started by just poking around online, you know, the usual. I wanted to get a feel for their schedule, their wins, their losses, the whole nine yards. I found out that their head coach, Steve Reiniger, released the 2025 schedule. I thought, “Great! Let’s see what they’re up to.” It mentioned something about a game against Saint Joseph’s, so I made a mental note of that.
Then, I dug a bit deeper. I stumbled upon this match they had against Army on March 16th. They lost, 4-0. Ouch. But, it looks like they bounced back the very next day and won both of their home matches, one of which was against Monmouth, and the score was 4-3. That’s a close one! Shows they’ve got some serious grit, right?
After that, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole reading about their match against the Naval Academy. It mentioned that Villanova only grabbed one point in a 6-1 loss. Rough. But hey, you win some, you lose some. That’s sports for ya.
- I also saw a post congratulating someone named Ami Grace Dougah for making the First-Team All-BIG EAST. Sounds like a star player!
- They also had a match in the BIG EAST Round 2 against DePaul.
Then, I decided to check out how they did in their fall season.
I found they played against Rider, Lafayette, and Lehigh. And guess what? They racked up a total of 18 single wins. Not too shabby, if you ask me.
Finally, I took a look at their official 2022-23 schedule, just to see how things have been going overall. And I’m telling you, these ladies have been busy! Lots of matches, lots of traveling, lots of ups and downs.
So, that’s where I’m at now. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster keeping up with the Villanova women’s tennis team, but it’s definitely been interesting. They seem like a tough bunch, and I’m excited to see what they do next.
