Okay, so today I wanted to keep up with how my favorite tennis player, Francisco Cerundolo, was doing. I’m always curious about his match scores, so I figured I’d check it out and document the whole process.
Figuring Out Where to Look
First things first, I needed to find a reliable place to get the score. I wasn’t sure if he was playing today, or when his next match was scheduled. My go-to is usually just a quick web search.
The Search Begins!
I pulled up my browser and typed in “Cerundolo tennis score”. Pretty straightforward, right? I figured that would give me the most relevant and up-to-date information. I hit enter and waited for the results.
Sifting Through the Results
The search results page popped up with a bunch of options. Some were sports news sites, others were dedicated tennis scoreboards. There were a few video results too, which I ignored for now, since I primarily just wanted the plain score.
- News Articles: I saw a couple of headlines about recent matches, but nothing that seemed super current.
- Live Score Sites: These looked promising! They usually have a running list of matches and scores.
- Official Tournament Pages: Sometimes, if a player is in a major tournament, the official site has the best info.
I decided to check out one of the live score sites first. It seemed like the quickest way to get what I wanted.
Finding the Score (or Not!)
I clicked on a live score site. I browsed through on-going or completed matches and found no name of Cerundolo. I guess he didn’t play any match today.
Checking the Schedule
Since I didn’t find an active or completed game, I wanted to know his next match. Then I went back to my search engine for a “Francisco Cerundolo schedule” to see upcoming games.
Success (of sorts)!
I finally found out when Cerundolo will play next! Though it is not a live score I need, it still counts, right? And I will use the same way to find out the real time score next time!
